On 10 April 2020, the Government of Malaysia had announced the decision to allow several sectors to operate during Movement Control Order (“MCO”) in phases with condition of strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. Subsequently, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (“MITI”) also provided details of the additional sectors which authorised to operate during the MCO subject to MITI’s approval.

HEB wishes to announce that its associate company, HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (“HSSI”) and SMHB Sdn Bhd (“SHMB”) had on 24 April 2020 and 18 April 2020 respectively, obtained the approval from MITI to operate during the MCO subject to strict compliance with MITI’s Standard Operating Procedure (“SOP”) and those of other relevant authorities which are applicable to the operations of the associate companies.

Operations have been commenced at HSSI’s head office on 27 April 2020 and at SMHB’s head office on 20 April 2020, at 50% workforce level in accordance with MITI’s SOP and the remaining employees continue to work from home.
