Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 8 January 2025, 17 January 2025 and 19 March 2025 in relation to the acceptance of Letter of Notification from the Energy Commission for the development of the Project ("Announcements"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

1. INTRODUCTION

HEB wishes to announce that on 28th August 2025, Unique HEB Energy Sdn Bhd [Registration No. 202501002731 (1604144-T)] (“SPV”) has issued a LOA to Samaiden Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 201301016493 (1046326-H)] (“Samaiden”) for the undertaking of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (“EPCC”) works for the Project.

2. SALIENT TERMS OF THE LOA

The salient terms of the LOA are as follows:-

a. The EPCC scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic (“LSSPV”) power plant with the established capacity of 95 MWac (“Works”).

b. The contract sum for the Works is RM 290,000,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred and Ninety Million only).

c. The commencement of the Works shall be upon the signing of the LOA, i.e. 28th August 2025.

d. The SPV and Samaiden shall within sixty (60) days from the acceptance of the LOA or such other extended date as may be mutually agreed, enter into an EPCC Contract comprising a Supply Agreement and Construction Agreement.

Any material developments in relation to the Project will be announced in due course.

3. INFORMATION ON SAMAIDEN SDN BHD 

Samaiden is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samaiden Group Berhad, which was incorporated on 16th May 2013. Samaiden is principally engaged in engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems and power plants, and provision of operation and maintenance services.
